What will I get from the Choir?
Rehearsals with uplifting singing, learning glorious repertoire and the thrill of performing
A friendly, social gathering
The opportunity to sing in a beautiful Grade II listed church, which was designed by George Street and has Burne-Jones and William Morris windows
What am I committing to?
There is a subscription of £70 for each concert (with a 50% discount for your first concert). The subscription for under 30 year olds is £35. This covers supplying your music, the rehearsal costs (including church hire and our accompanist) and the cost of staging the performance.
We encourage all our members to attend as many rehearsals as possible. To be eligible to sing in the concert you must attend at least five rehearsals. The rehearsal on the afternoon of the concert day is mandatory for all performers.
When do we sing?
AUTUMN CONCERT 2026
The rehearsal schedule for our next concert is:
September 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
November 5th (Thursday), 9th, 11th (Wednesday), 14th (Saturday) from 2 pm
Concert date: Saturday November 14th
SPRING CONCERT 2027
January 11th, 18th, 25th
February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd
March 1st, 8th, 15th, 18th (Thursday), 20th (Saturday from 2 pm)
Concert date: Saturday March 20th
Rehearsals start promptly at 7.45 pm and finish at 9.30 pm in All Saints Church, Putney Common and are on Monday evening (unless indicated otherwise)
