About

UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO EXTENDED COVID RESTRICTIONS THE CONCERT ON THE 4TH JULY HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Alison Hunka founded the 1885 Singers in 1997. A Putney choir open to everyone, it has established itself in the music scene of South West London. They  give four concerts a year, usually March, June, October and December. There is a 4-6 week lead into each concert with rehearsals on Mondays and Wednesdays in All Saints Church, Putney Common.

Here is our Christmas virtual performance of O little town of Bethlehem and as another treat, the lovely Candlelight Carol.

For more information please contact Alison Hunka by email or on 07763 464304.

Enjoy our latest virtual performance of Handel’s Zadok the Priest here.

Our first on this link was the first movement of Vivaldi’s Gloria and our second on this link was Wie Lieblich sind deine Wohnungen (How lovely are Thy dwellings) from Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem. These were all put together by a very expert professional sound/video mixer friend, to whom we are very grateful.
