What will I get from the Choir?
Rehearsals with uplifting singing, learning glorious repertoire and the thrill of performing
A friendly, social gathering
The opportunity to sing in a beautiful Grade II listed church, which was designed by George Street and has Burne-Jones and William Morris windows
What am I committing to?
There is a subscription of £70 for each concert (with a 50% discount for your first concert and for under 30 year olds). This covers supplying your music, the rehearsal costs (including church hire and our accompanist) and the cost of staging the performance.
We encourage all our members to attend as many rehearsals as possible. To be eligible to sing in the concert you must attend at least five rehearsals. The rehearsal on the afternoon of the concert day is mandatory for all performers.
When do we sing?
SPRING CONCERT 2026
The rehearsal schedule for our next concert is:
January 19th, 26th
February 2nd (Open), 9th, 23rd
March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 26th
Concert date: Sunday March 29th.
SUMMER CONCERT 2026
April 27th
May 4th, 11th, 18th
June 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
July 1st (Wednesday)
Concert date: Saturday July 4th
Rehearsals start promptly at 7.45 pm and finish at 9.30 pm in All Saints Church, Putney Common and are on Monday evening (unless indicated otherwise)
